Compassion is a key component as we strive for recovery. It changes how we see ourselves; how we view other people and how we assess life situations.
We need to learn about nutrition and how best to nourish our body.
Do something creative. Enjoy colour, enjoy nature, play an instrument, write a poem, design clothes, learn to knit, do something different with hair or nails.
As we practice being in the present moment; we let go of our past and stop feeling anxious about the future. When we remain calm we are more in control.
